NAET – Allergy and Sensitivity Elimination Technique

NAET® was discovered by Dr. Devi S. Nambudripad in November of 1983. Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques, also known as NAET, is a non-invasive, drug free, natural solution to alleviate allergies of all types and intensities using a blend of selective energy balancing, testing and treatment procedures from acupuncture/acupressure, allopathy, chiropractic, nutritional, and kinesiological disciplines of medicine.

One allergen is treated at a time. If you are not severely immune deficient, you may need just one treatment to desensitize one allergen. A person with mild to moderate amount of allergies may take about 15-20 office visits to desensitize 15-20 food and environmental allergens.

Basic essential nutrients are treated during the first few visits. Chemicals, environmental allergens, vaccinations, immunizations, etc. are treated after completing about ten basic essential nutrients. NAET can successfully alleviate adverse reactions to egg, milk, peanuts, penicillin, aspirin, mushrooms, shellfish, latex, grass, ragweed, flowers, perfume, animal dander, animal epithelial, make-up, chemicals, cigarette smoke, pathogens, heat, cold, or other environmental agents. It may take several office visits to desensitize a severe allergen.

Dr. Danny T Khounh is an Acupuncturist and a Research Scientist with over 20 years of experience in research and development for drug discovery as well as in clinical research. He was exposed to alternative medicine at a very young age being a son of a medicine man of the town and a midwife and healer in Cambodia. His parents only used herbs and other natural healing methods to treat ailing people. Danny was able to see and experience the power of alternative medicine. He had the opportunity to learn some of the art from his parents. When he came to the US, he was driven to help people in as many ways as
possible so he started on his journey with science.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology (premed) from Cabrini College and started his research and development in a biotech company. Instead of going to allopathic medicine, he chose to pursuit his graduate school in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Texas Health and Science University. This was what he was looking for to fulfill his desire to follow in his father’s footsteps and to satisfy his desire to heal people. As he continued his scientific career and in 2002, he graduated from Texas Health and Science University which manifested as his passion and establishment of his career in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Dr Khounh recently aquired his doctorate in acupuncture and oriental medicine intergating eastern and western medicine to address the whole human body.  He has taken two completely different strategies of his career path and found an understanding that guides healing in a new way.

All in all, Dr Khounh’s goal is to bring the eastern and western disciplines together to heal his patients effectively in a natural way.
